As a result, we have successfully restored the confidence of both domestic and international investors to take advantage of the opportunities that Pakistan has to offer as a hub of trade between Central and South Asia and even Western China.
Looking at the immense participation from the local companies and keen interest from the international trade visitors, I am certain that Expo Pakistani 2005 will play a crucial role to significantly increase the international demand for Pakistan products and showcase our country as a promising partner for new business alliances.
I am very pleased that Export Promotion Bureau has taken an initiative that reflects the potential of our manufacturers and exporters to better compete with international players on the basis of high quality at low cost. My deep appreciation goes to the efforts and proactive policies of EPB, which has proven to be an effective platform for Pakistan's conventional and unconventional exportable produce to old and new markets.
We must be proud of our country, which is climbing leaps and bounds on the way towards sustained economic prosperity, while bracing the true role as a gateway to the Asian Region.
I warmly welcome all the international trade delegates and visitors to Pakistan with a certainty that their visit will mark a profitable start of business with our exporters. During the course of interaction with Pakistani business community they will be able to develop mutually beneficial partnerships and avail numerous opportunities available in the form of high returns, low labour costs and full protection of their investments within an overall investor friendly climate.
